Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-07-06.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a BotForge account or workspace, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you’re accepting on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization.

2. Accounts and workspaces

A workspace is the unit of tenancy on BotForge — your bots, modules, customers, and billing all belong to a workspace. You’re responsible for the security of your account credentials and for the activity of members you invite into your workspace or organization.

3. Plans and billing

BotForge offers a free plan and paid plans with monthly billing through our payment processors (Stripe and, where enabled, PayPal). Upgrading, downgrading, and cancellation are self-service from your workspace’s Billing settings. Paid features remain accessible through the end of your current billing period after cancellation. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact support.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use BotForge to send unsolicited bulk messages in violation of a connected channel’s own policies, to distribute malware, or to circumvent the platform’s module security review. Every marketplace module is scanned before approval and sandboxed at runtime; attempting to bypass that sandbox is a violation of these terms.

5. Marketplace and developer content

Modules, AI agents, prompts, and other assets published to the BotForge marketplace remain the intellectual property of their developer. Publishing an asset grants BotForge and installing workspaces a license to run it as described in the marketplace listing. BotForge’s revenue share with developers is disclosed in the Developer Portal.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you and your customers generate on BotForge — messages, customer records, orders, and configuration. See our Privacy Policy for how it’s stored and protected, and how to request deletion.

7. Termination

You may delete your workspace at any time from workspace settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

8. Disclaimer and liability

BotForge is provided “as is.” We work to keep the platform reliable — see our status page for real operational signals — but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by law, BotForge’s liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We’ll update the “last updated” date above when these terms change and, for material changes, notify workspace owners in advance.
